The convenor will be Kim Gordon, who is also a co-organiser of Brighton & Hove for Europe and their weekly Europe Corner stall in Brighton. Britain for Europe, of which B&H is a member, works with Open Britain and the European Movement to promote the pro-European cause and in particular to campaign against the unpalatable alternatives of a hard brexit or no deal.
He will be addressing the question of the role of Remain Resistance and how it should operate post the General Election. We hope towards the end of the meeting to review the result of the French Presidential Election and President Macron's initial impact.
The June meeting will take place in Room 6 at the earlier time of 10.30. This will not only give Kim time to get along to Europe Corner afterwards, but also those of us attending to decide, whether or not we prefer to start at 10.30. We have access to the room from 10.15 and should vacate it by 12.15. You may like to bring in with you refreshments and drinks from the nearby cafés.
Contributions of £1 or £2 are invited towards the cost of the room hire.
