Now the EU withdrawal negotiations are under way, what does brexit look like from across the Channel and overseas?
For a unique insight into this, Helen Gibbons, our Branch Social Media Officer, will lead our next session on 8 July. She is director of her own company dealing in translation and interpretation, which operates out of Sussex, with bases in Gibraltar and the Netherlands. This gives her wide-ranging access to the personal views of EU citizens at all levels and to public opinion as expressed in their newspapers and other media. Do come along to another lively discussion.
We shall devote approximately the last twenty minutes to the outcome of the French elections introduced by comments from Michael Rider.
We have access to the room from 10.15 and should vacate it by 12.15. You may like to bring in with you refreshments and drinks from the nearby cafés.
Contributions of £1 or £2 are invited towards the cost of the room hire.
