- Anna Grainger – Modern Languages teacher and former eTwinning ambassador, based in Coventry, campaigning to allow all young people to have the same opportunities for language learning and immersing themselves in other cultures that she had.
- Dr Cahir O’Kane – Reader in Genetics at the University of Cambridge
