On Thursday 9th February, the European Movement UK and the Young European Movement collaborated on a for a Networking Reception on UK-EU Co-Operation in Education.
The event, taking place at Europe House, was an opportunity for members of both organisations to meeting fellow activists, as well as policymakers who care deeply about this issue.
It included speeches from a range of people including Conservative MP, Mark Logan, Labour MP, Sir Mark Hendrick, Liberal Democrats Peer, Baroness Sarah Ludford, Jamie de Villota from the EU Delegation to the UK, Julius Lajtha the President of the Young European Movement, and the German Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Miguel Berger.

The event was part of a weekend of workshops and seminars for members of the Young European Movement at their Campaign Training Bootcamp. The weekend featured a training session on polling and research from Opinium, a bootcamp on running a political campaign from Michael Anderson and Richard Kilpatrick of the European Movement UK, and a separate session on media training designed to empower YEM members to be effective campaigners.
