Senior Labour party politician, life peer, and leading People's Vote Campaigner Andrew Adonis will be joining People's Vote West Lancashire for Europe on Saturday 23rd February, to host a public meeting on Brexit.
The discussion will cover the current state-of-affairs in Parliament and in Brussels; how a People's Vote can be obtained and won; what you can do in Lancashire to make your voice heard; and why Remain is the only viable option for the UK.
The meeting will take place at 2pm at the Ormskirk Civic Hall.

Lord Adonis Biography:
Andrew is a Labour member of the House of Lords and a visiting professor at King’s College London. He began his career as an academic at Oxford University, before becoming a journalist at the Financial Times and then The Observer. Lord Adonis is the Vice Chair of European Movement UK.
He was later appointed as Head of the Number 10 Policy Unit by Prime Minister Tony Blair and in 2005 was made a life peer and became Minister for Schools, forging Teach First, academies and the London Challenge. In 2008 he became Minister then Secretary of State for Transport, pioneering HS2 and Crossrail. He was founding chair of the independent National Infrastructure Commission until he resigned to fight Brexit.
He has authored several books such as “Education, Education, Education: Reforming England’s schools”, “5 Days in May: The Coalition and Beyond”, and most recently “Saving Britain: How We Must Change to Prosper in Europe” with Will Hutton.
