A Green Brexit?: Environmental Issues and Britain's Departure from the EU

Europe Day YouTube Livestream NorthHerts 4Europe YouTube channel

University of East Anglia philosophy professor Catherine Rowett was elected as Green Party MEP for the Eastern Region in May 2019. In this talk, she would like to reflect on the benefits for environmental action that were attached to the UK's membership of the EU, and how far these are likely to continue post-Brexit (as promised by Michael Gove in 2017). There will be an opportunity for questions.

Although free of charge, this is a ticketed event. Sign up on here to access the link to the YouTube livestream.

You can also donate at the same time to help the work of North Herts for Europe.
