UPDATE 30/01/18: Leaked reports show that the government have conducted analysis into the possible Brexit scenarios, revealing that the economy will be worse off in every case. 47 MPs across the political spectrum have signed an open letter demanding that the government publishes its analysis in full.

UPDATE 03/09/17: Molly Scott Cato MEP has made a Freedom of Information request seeking details on studies conducted into the impact of Brexit on the NHS. With over 10,000 people signing this campaign in less than four days, it's essential that we keep up the pressure on the Government and continue to gather support.

The Government has conducted over fifty studies showing the impact that Brexit will have across our economy - but it's refusing to share them. Don't let them keep us in the dark on the true cost of Brexit - sign the petition below to release these studies.

Given that the findings of these studies could potentially show the true cost of leaving the European Union - figures that voters have been demanding both before and after the referendum in 2016 - it is nonsensical that our elected representatives would seek to hide such facts from us now that it has undertaken the valuable task of producing them.

If the studies show that Brexit will have a disastrous long-term impact on our country then we the electorate deserve to know. If the Government has nothing to hide then it should share the truth.

"It is in the public interest that the Brexit process is as open and transparent as possible. If the government is withholding significant information about the future of our country from the people it is there to represent, then it is working against the very principle of democracy.”

- Molly Scott Cato MEP, Green Party

"These are studies paid for from the public purse, they should be shared with the people who paid for them - the public, right now. Mrs May, David Davies and the Tory party must not be allowed to damage this country irrevocably by pursuing a damaging Brexit. Those of us who are fighting for our future relationship with the EU need to have these impartial facts and the government must release these reports.”

Catherine Bearder MEP, Liberal Democrats

"The fact that the government wants to keep people in the dark about the consequences of Brexit can mean only one thing: that the Leave Campaign won on a false prospectus and Brexit will be costly, damaging to the economy, and destructive of jobs."

- Richard Corbett MEP, Labour Party and Vice-Chair of the European Movement UK

“Leaving the EU will have a massive impact on us all: our economy, environmental, rights and the opportunities for young people. Before taking this massive step, it is important we have all the facts at our fingertips. The UK Government is continuing the gross irresponsibility of Vote Leave in not telling anybody what Brexit really means. They need to release the report on the impact of Brexit now and demonstrate that they have nothing to hide.”

- Stephen Gethins MP, SNP Westminster Group Spokesperson on International Affairs and Europe

"Given that leaked figures have shown that the NHS could be short of 40,000 nurses by 2026, it is imperative that the government opens up about the impact Brexit will have across the fifty other sectors it has researched so far."

- Dr Rob Davidson, Director of Healthier in the EU

We the undersigned call on the Government to make a commitment to publishing the analysis conducted into the impact of Brexit on the UK's economy and across its various sectors.

We believe that the Government should acknowledge that, given the significance of the decision to leave the European Union, the public have a democratic right to be informed as to the anticipated impact of the decision on our economy and country's future.
