National Rejoin March - Return Travel from Leeds

Following the success of the first National Rejoin March in 2022 we are doing it again in 2023.  But it will be bigger and louder!

This years march will be on 23 September 2023.  It will be THE national event of the year bringing pro-Europeans together to say that we want the UK to rejoin the European Union as soon as possible.

Once again, Leeds for Europe are organising coach travel to and from this exciting and important event.  As has become customary, we are planning 3 pickup points: 1. We will leave Leeds from the bus stops on Sovereign Street, just off Neville Street (LS1 4DA), at 7am prompt.  2. We will collect from the bus stop on the roundabout (southbound) below J38 of the M1.  3. We will collect from Alsing Road (S9 1HF), Sheffield Meadowhall.

You will be asked upon completion of your ticket purchase to specify which of the 3 pickup points you will be using.

We aim to deliver you near to the march assembly point in Park Lane for 12 noon. After the march and rally you will be picked up at 6pm and returned to Leeds/J38 M1/Sheffield, aiming to complete our journey by around 11.00pm, traffic permitting.

As you will be only too aware, the last couple of years have seen a surge in the cost of all sorts of day to day items - in large part due to the Brexit we are campaigning against!  Unfortunately, there is no avoiding this and the cost of transport has been particularly affected.  Consequently, we have had no choice but to increase our ticket prices this year - just so we can financially break even.

For some people who would really like to participate in the march this increased cost will be difficult or impossible to afford.  To help in such circumstances, we would like to be able to offer free or subsidised tickets to those who are genuinely unable to afford the full ticket price.  You can help us to do this: When you buy your ticket please consider donating a little extra to help us to support those in need.  We will pool donations received in this way and use any surplus to enable us to offset the cost for those who genuinely need it.
