DIRECTOR OF MEMBERSHIP AND DIGITAL

The European Movement UK is looking for an experienced and passionate Director of Membership and Digital to join our team.

Reporting to the CEO, the Director of Membership and Digital will lead the European Movement UK on two critical areas.

  • An ambitious strategy to rapidly grow our membership and become a mass membership organisation within 5 years;
  • A digital strategy that delivers on the European Movement’s strategic objectives to shift public opinion and grow our movement, including cutting edge digital political communications, innovative digital campaigns infrastructure and platforms that drive highly efficient and effective supporter engagement

DIRECTOR OF STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS

The European Movement UK is looking for an experienced and passionate Director of Strategic Communications to join our team.

Reporting to the CEO, the Director of Strategic Communications will lead the European Movement UK's Strategic Communications strategy, with objectives that include:

  • Create and lead a strategic communications strategy which:
    • Shapes public narrative about the impact of leaving the EU and the need to rebuild our relationship with the EU step by step, and which over time creates the conditions within which rejoining the EU is politically possible;
    • supports EM’s transformation into a mass membership organisation;
  • Quickly grow profile, reach and influence, positioning EM as the authoritative, cross-party, pro-European voice in British politics;
  • Build a high performing communications, campaigns and public affairs operation.

CAMPAIGNS MANAGER

The European Movement UK is looking for an experienced and passionate Campaigns Manager to join our team and to manage our high profile campaigns.

Reporting to the Director of Strategic Communications, the Campaigns Manager will Project Manage the European Movement UK's campaigns, contributing to strategic objectives that include:

  • Creatively manage our campaigns, generating campaign ideas and developing plans in line with the campaign and organisational strategy. 
  • Coordinate and deliver activity in the plans using a diverse range of campaigning methods and activities at the right time to create change. 
  • Lead the growth and development of European Movement UK campaigns operations, including taking a lead on our list growth strategy to effectively build an engaged supporter base.

PRESS AND PUBLIC AFFAIRS MANAGER

The European Movement UK is looking for an experienced and passionate Press and Public Affairs Manager to join our team and lead our press and public affairs functions.

Reporting to the Director of Strategic Communications, the Press and Public Affairs Manager will develop and deliver the European Movement UK's press and public affairs strategy, contributing to strategic objectives that include:

  • Position the European Movement as the authoritative, cross-party, pro-European voice in British politics.
  • Shape the public narrative about the social and economic impact of leaving the EU on families and communities across the UK, and effectively counter attempts to obscure the impact of leaving the EU behind COVID-19.
  • Give a voice to people and communities negatively affected by our departure from the EU, making their experience urgent and important in public debate.
