Yvonne Wancke of North East for Europe is elected as Chair of the Branches Forum.
The European Movement today announced that Yvonne Wancke, from the local group North East for Europe, is the new Chair of the Branches Forum.
The Branches Forum is the European Movement UK's forum for all the movement's local groups across the UK and beyond.
We would like to thank all who attended and took part in the election for their hard work and dedication.
The new Chair, Yvonne, commented:
I am delighted to be elected Chair of the Branches Forum at this pivotal time in our Movement. I am looking forward to working with all of you to ensure we go in to the second half of 2021 fighting fit to expose the damage Brexit is having on our communities, our economy and society.
We have a lot to do, and I cannot wait to get started.
