Urge Your MP to Support the Youth Experience Scheme Between the UK and EU
At the UK-EU Summit on 19 May, the government agreed to 'work towards' a new 'Youth Experience Scheme' with the EU.A scheme like this would give young people in the UK huge opportunities to gain important professional skills, studying opportunities, and key life experiences.But key details about the scheme are still to be worked out, such as how many young people will be able to participate each year, and for how long. And we still don't know when the scheme will actually be introduced.Together, European Movement UK and the Young European Movement are urging politicians to make sure there aren't further delays to the 'Youth Experience Scheme', and that the final agreement benefits as many young people as possible.By writing to your MP today, you can encourage them to represent your views to the government, and show the overwhelming public support for much closer relations with Europe.
