Flags in the Wind screening

Cambridge for Europe will be screening Flags in the Wind, a film by the European Movement UK which explores the humanitarian impact of the Ukraine-Russia war on the people of Ukraine.

The documentary parallels the United Kingdom’s struggles in the Second World War with the ongoing experiences of the Ukrainian people, questioning whether the lessons of history have been heeded.

With contributions from Ukrainian citizens, veterans, senior politicians, and rehabilitation centre clinicians, Flags in the Wind delivers a sober message at a time when Europe celebrates 80 years since Victory in Europe Day.

The film screening will be followed by a discussion about the impact of the war in Ukraine. 

Entrance is free, but we will be encouraging donations to Hospitallers volunteer paramedics.

The venue is fully accessible.
