Julian Priestley Memorial Lecture

The Sir Julian Priestley Memorial Lecture is an annual event established in 2018 to honor Sir Julian Priestley, the former Secretary General of the European Parliament (1997–2007), and as such the most senior British civil servant in the EU.

He was also in his youth a stalwart of the European Movement, leading the Youth Campaign in the 1975 referendum.

The lecture series has featured prominent politicians, journalists and diplomats, discussing the European Union, the UK's relationship with it, and the future evolution of that relationship.
