The Next Ten Years Can Transform the UK
The world is changing rapidly. Artificial intelligence, climate change, global trade, European security, the race for investment and new industries. These challenges cannot be solved by any country acting alone.
Across Europe, countries are working together to create jobs, strengthen their economies, invest in clean energy, regulate new industries and keep people safe.

Our Vision for the UK
Imagine if we could build a United Kingdom where our businesses can sell easily to a market of nearly 460 million people. Where our families feel the benefit of lower costs, a stronger economy and new well-paid jobs. Where our young people can study, train and build careers across Europe.
Where British science and innovation leads the world in technological advancement. Where we are at the heart of European decision-making. Where we work alongside our friends and neighbours to tackle our common challenges like security, the environment and organised crime.

Our polling shows 53% agree Britain would have more influence over the decisions affecting it as a member of the EU.

This is a target. Not a deadline.
Our polling shows support grows when membership is a long-term goal: 54.5% back working towards joining by 2036, compared with 48.6% who would vote to join tomorrow.
If the UK is ready sooner, even better. If it takes longer, we should keep moving forward.
Having a clear destination and a strong bold ambition allows us to prepare for the future. We go forward with confidence in ourselves and our country.
