Europe Day 2024
In 2024 the European Movement UK partnered with the National Liberal Club in London to produce an event to mark Europe Day.
The event featured a range of great speakers including:
- SIR VINCE CABLE - Vice President of the European Movement UK and former Leader of the Liberal Democrats.
- DOMINIC GRIEVE KC - Vice President of the European Movement UK and former Attorney General of England and Wales.
- GUY VERHOFSTADT MEP - Member of the European Parliament for Belgium, former Chair of the Brexit Steering Group, and former Prime Minister of Belgium.
- KARIN RAHACEK - Club Chair of the National Liberal Club
- TOBIAS ELLWOOD MP - Conservative MP for Bournemouth East and former Chair of the Defence Select Committee.
- KIRA RUDYK - Ukrainian People's Deputy (MP) and Leader of the Holos Party.
- NEIL KINNOCK - Member of the House of Lords, former Leader of the Labour Party, former Vice President of the European Commission.
The event was hosted by MIKE GALSWORTHY, Chair of the European Movement UK, and CECILIA JASTRZEMBSKA the new President of the Young European Movement.
