Europe Day Celebration 2025

Join us for an evening of music, dance, film and food at Volcano Theatre in Swansea!

Enjoy a live performance by Swansea-born musician Wayne Allen, former frontman of the original U2 tribute band The Doppelgangers and composer of "Song for Rejoin".

We’ll also be raising funds for Sunflowers Wales, a Ukrainian support group, who will perform traditional Ukrainian songs and dances.

As part of the evening, we’ll screen "Flags in the Wind", a short VE Day documentary that reflects on the human cost of the Ukraine-Russia war. The film draws powerful parallels between the UK’s experience in WWII and the current hardships faced by the Ukrainian people, asking: Have we learned from history?
