Referendum anniversary panel: finding a path back to Europe

Ten years after the Brexit referendum, join us for a panel discussion on how the UK can return to the heart of Europe, and rejoin the EU.

After ten years lost to Brexit, rejoining the EU is clearly in the economic, security and political interests of the UK.

In an increasingly fractured and dangerous world, we in the UK should unite with our European neighbours to deepen cooperation and strengthen the institutions we rely on to defend our shared values and our shared interests.

There are, however, many obstacles to our return to the heart of Europe, and the political challenge of achieving it can seem daunting.

Where is the path back to the EU?

In this panel event we will discuss the challenges our campaign faces, and how they may be overcome.

Our panel will include:

• Molly Scott Cato – Vice Chair, European Movement UK
• Tom Brufatto – Executive Director of Policy and Research, Best for Britain
• Jonathan Saunders – Head of International, Young European Movement UK

Each of our panellists will give an opening statement, after which we’ll open the discussion to questions from the audience.

This discussion will be chaired by Paul Browne of Cambridge for Europe.
