Embrace Erasmus stall in Cambridge

Join Young European Movement UK and Cambridge for Europe members at our Embrace Erasmus stall to call for the UK to rejoin Erasmus+.

Erasmus+ gives young people the chance to study, work and travel across Europe. The Europe-wide programme created countless opportunities for young people in the UK, as well as bringing talent from other countries into our universities and workplaces. Being outside Erasmus+ puts our country, and our young people, at a disadvantage.

Leaving Erasmus+ was a big mistake, and the new Turing scheme is not an adequate replacement. The Young European Movement, in partnership with European Movement UK and the British Youth Council, recently launched the Embrace Erasmus campaign and petition to rejoin the programme, and if you’d like to find out more about why the UK should rejoin, and what the “+” in Erasmus+ is, watch this webinar.
