So much for parliamentary scrutiny...

So much for parliamentary scrutiny! It is nearly two months since the government closed the only committee with the power to scrutinise the Brexit deal as a whole. And Jacob Rees-Mogg has done nothing to replace or reinstate it.

As we near 100 days of this disastrous Brexit, the outcome of this bad deal for Britain is playing out across the country. But those who negotiated it are almost entirely unaccountable for this nightmare.

Tomorrow we will send the petition that you and nearly 40,000 others have signed already, demanding that Jacob Rees-Mogg replaces the committee and restores parliamentary scrutiny in full.

We will not stop holding the government to account and working to ensure this deal gets the scrutiny it deserves, and its disastrous impacts on people across the UK have been exposed.

Thank you so much for your support – and if you are not already, become a supporter of the movement to be a part of our campaign for real scrutiny and accountability.
